Dr. Victor Poon

MANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine)
A Hong Kong native, Dr. Victor began his veterinary journey in Australia, graduating from the University of Queensland in 2014. With over a decade of clinical experience, he has developed a robust professional background through tenures at several of Hong Kong’s premier 24-hour emergency and critical care facilities.
Dr. Victor is a dedicated proponent of evidence-based veterinary medicine. In 2015, he successfully completed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE), and in 2022, he achieved Membership in the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) in Small Animal Medicine by examination—a testament to his commitment to clinical excellence.
His expertise spans complex internal medicine, advanced ultrasonography, and emergency critical care. To provide the highest tier of patient outcomes, Dr. Victor has pursued extensive post-graduate training in echocardiography, fracture management, and soft-tissue surgery.
When not in the clinic or developing educational content, Dr. Victor is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, rock climbing, scuba diving, and photography.
